AMO® serves Christian educators in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. Its growth among Christian Spanish speakers has been especially strong, with widespread adoption across Latin America and beyond.
Parents, churches, and schools in more than a dozen Latin American countries—as well as in Spain and the United States—are using the program. Many Spanish-speaking families have embraced its emphasis on strengthening the home by equipping parents for the vital role God has given them: nurturing their children’s hearts and minds for Christ. This meets a deep desire to see their families flourish in the Lord and raise up servant leaders for the home, church, and community.
The growing demand among these families and churches led to the creation of Programa AMO Español in 2023. Its mission is to raise up leaders and expand access to the program for Spanish-speaking educators.

Leaders for PAE

Cristina Incháustegui

“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain”
John 15:16

Cristina was born in the United States and grew up in the Dominican Republic. She is the fourth generation of educators in her family. Lesson plans, records, textbooks, report cards, and parent-teacher meetings have been an integral part of her life from an early age. She earned a bachelor’s degree in School Psychology and later specialized in Functional Neurological Organization at the Development Center of San Juan, Puerto Rico. She also holds a diploma in Christian Education from the Presbyterian Theological Seminary of Mérida, Mexico. The Lord Jesus Christ saved her by His grace in November 1984. Since then, she has served in missions and in teaching the Word to youth, women, and children, both within and outside the local church. She has worked in various educational institutions as a psychologist, administrator, and general director, also teaching classes on several occasions. She resigned from her job in 2010 after being certified as a trainer in Biblical principles and practices of Christian education and the AMO® Program. She was appointed director of the Program in the Dominican Republic. Since then, she has been dedicated full-time to answering the call to instruct and disciple nations through Biblical Christian education with the ministry, Chrysalis International, Inc. Since 2014, she served as Regional Director of the Program for Latin America and the Caribbean, conducting Christian education training and AMO® curriculum workshops in schools, churches, NGOs, and children’s ministries across Central and South America and the Caribbean, discipling countless teachers, pastors, and parents. Since 2020, the Lord began expanding the reach of her work through

online teaching for teachers and parents in Spain and the Spanish-speaking population in the United States. Her calling is to listen and respond to the Voice of God; her passion is to see a new generation grow up to love and serve Jesus as Lord; her conviction is that the transformation of a nation begins at home and in the classroom. Cristina and her husband Alfonso have been married since 1985 and have two children, Rafael Alfonso and Lourdes Cristina. They attend International Baptist Church (IBI) in Santo Domingo where they live.
